It comprises a richly adorned articulated chain with numerous movable pendants, leading to an imposing central openwork dome pendant. Under this radiant motif hang delicate crescent moons (hilal), symbols of femininity and renewal, as well as a conical element finished with movable charms. The rustle produced by the pendants as they move gives this piece a traditional apotropaic function (intended to ward off the evil eye).
