Middle Paleolithic: Neanderthal Flint Flint artifacts - 21 cm (No

Four flint tools from the Neanderthal culture in France and a core stone (livre-de-beurre). This small collection consists of various types of tools. They were found in the French department of Indre-et-Loire near Le Grand-Pressigny. The finest object is a so-called livre-de-beurre of considerable size, dating from the Neolithic. Provenance: The collection was purchased in 2020 by D. den D. in Rotterdam, subsequently D.O. from Rotterdam was the owner. I purchased the tools in 2023 as part of a large collection of French prehistoric objects.
