Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A coffin mask with a layer of plaster overlay and painted surface. The face is broad and tapering, painted in a reddish pink, with large almond-shaped eyes outlined in black, heavy arched brows, a straight nose, and a small closed mouth. The head is covered by a striated headdress painted in alternating black and yellow bands. The reverse retains dowel holes for attachment.
