Byzantine Bronze Signet Ring 8th to 10th Century AD (No reserve price)

Byzantine Bronze Signet Ring – 8th to 10th Century AD A Byzantine bronze signet ring featuring a broad oval bezel engraved with a distinctive linear and geometric device composed of transverse and diagonal strokes, likely functioning as a personal monogram, ownership mark or simplified seal motif. The substantial hoop expands naturally toward the bezel, a construction characteristic of Byzantine signet rings, while the deeply incised decoration and dark archaeological patina give the piece a strong and unmistakably ancient appearance. The overall form and engraving style are most consistent with Middle Byzantine personal ornaments and sealing rings of approximately the 8th to 10th Century AD. Material: Bronze Dimensions: 2.1 x 2.1 cm Weight: 3.12 gr Provenance: Acquired in Germany at an Auction House. We guarantee the authenticity of the pieces, backed by the combined experience of our experts spanning more than 40 years. A Certificate of Authenticity (CoA) will be sent digitally by email. This item has been legally acquired under European Law.
