Zeiss Ikon Ikonta 520/18 Analogue camera

Here is a classic, sturdy and fascinating mid-format fold-out pocket camera: the Zeiss Ikon Ikonta Model 520/18, produced in Germany by Zeiss Ikon in Stuttgart from the early 1930s to the early 1940s. The lot presents itself in good overall condition, perfectly mechanically functional, and is complete with its original optical–mechanical block with collapsible aperture. Optics: The camera mounts the original fixed lens Novar-Anastigmat 1:4.5 f=50mm. The lenses show no deep scratches or traces of internal mold or fungus; only a normal, broad, light vintage patina due to the decades passed, entirely expected for a piece of this age, which does not compromise its historical importance or its strong collectible charm. Mechanical: The lot has been tested and is mechanically functional in manual operation. The central shutter responds correctly to commands, firing regularly at the speeds set by the top lever. Aesthetics: Good overall condition, as documented by the photographs. The solid metal case retains its original black textured leatherette covering, showing the classic and normal signs of surface wear and slight wear along the glossy black exterior metal profiles. International tracked shipping, fully insured and professionally protective packaging to guarantee maximum safety during transport.
