His ideas about the connection between art and philosophy found echoes in the works of Joseph Beuys and John Cage. Other major artists who were inspired by Yves Klein or followed similar paths include Gerhard Richter and David Batchelor, whose works explore similar concepts of color, space, and perception. The artistic experimentation and boundary-breaking in the works of Marina Abramović and Olafur Eliasson also show his influence.
