Yamaha - CA-1010 Solid state integrated amplifier - Multiple models

Yes, the Yamaha CA-1010 from 1977 is a solid-state stereophonic integrated amplifier, not a tube (valve) amplifier. It is a high-end hi-fi amplifier of its era, particularly interesting because it features a rather refined characteristic: it can operate in both Class A and Class AB. Class A: about 18 watts per channel into 8 ohms, with biasing that favors linearity and results in more heat generation. Class AB: about 90 watts per channel into 8 ohms, with greater efficiency and available power. Technology: solid-state analog circuitry, with a transistor in the output stage. Type: integrated amplifier, with a preamplifier and power amplifier in the same unit. The ability to select Class A is one of the features that makes the CA-1010 particularly prized by vintage Hi-Fi enthusiasts. Of the very highest quality, perfect, like new Inputs 6: phono 1, phono 2, tuner, aux, tape 1, tape 2
