Todas las subastas / Arte contemporáneo / XTC Artist - Cerise Tiffany 30 cm
Apple / Cherry resin sculpture by XTC Tiffany. About 15-17 cm in diameter and 30 cm tall with the stem. Resin sculpture commercially manufactured and customized, hand-finished by the artist XTC using acrylic paints and varnishes and vinyl. The edition number applies to the artist-painted finish, not to the base object. Numbered / 30 and signed on the bottom, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided. (little note: the shipped piece is not necessarily the one in the photo but will be similar) Carefully packaged and tracked shipping. Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC shaped his artistic universe through an interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration has become a passion, which was to be realized. XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligned with the Pop Art movement, through the subversion of contemporary consumer goods. His creativity expresses itself through bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes collide with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermes, Veuve Clicquot champagne, or caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds. He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes mineral materials. He draws inspiration, among others, from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, advertising, and addictions in general. All potential defects or imperfections are an integral part of the work. HAND-FINISHED “Sculpture produced for commercial purposes, hand-retouched by the artist XTC using acrylic paints.”
