XL, CV3, CARBONACEOUS Chondrite Meteorite (Sahara

Spectacular CV3 carbonaceous chondrite meteorite, in which we can observe numerous chondrules on its surface, representing the oldest material in the solar system, with an estimated age of 4.567 billion years. It was recently found in 2026 in the Sahara Desert. It contains a certain amount of iron, as seen in the second photograph, where a neodymium magnet sticks to it, something not very common in CV3 carbonaceous chondrites. It is a specimen of size and quality worthy of a great collection or museum. CV3 chondrites are famous for their CAIs (Calcium-Aluminum-rich Inclusions), generally considered among the oldest materials in the solar system since they were the first to solidify in the solar nebula, and thus among the oldest materials ever described and found. In this specimen you can see several of different sizes, as well as hundreds of chondrules on the surface. CV3 chondrites like this are rich in amino acids and water, and thus are considered one of the basic pillars supporting the theory that the seeds of life could have arrived on Earth with this type of meteorites. All our meteorites come with certificates from IMCA (International Meteorite Collectors Association), GMA (Global Meteorite Association), and The Meteoritical Society, which guarantees the authenticity of all our meteorites for life. Buy with guarantees. Best regards and our very best wishes. CRATER METEORITES
