Todas las subastas / Muebles, diseño & espejos / Writing table - Walnut - Center of the room - lock
Center desk/console table in Louis XVI style, dating from the late nineteenth century. The piece is entirely made of solid walnut wood with a blond finish. The rectangular top features a perimeter frame with 45-degree mitered cuts, which refine its edges. At the bottom there is a wide central drawer with an original lock from the period, perfectly functional, complete with key. The structure rests on four straight, tapering legs, decorated at the top with a turned ring in wood. The furniture is structurally solid, stable, and in excellent overall condition. It shows a beautiful patina and light signs of wear on the wood consistent with its age and use, visible in the close-up photos. A versatile piece of furniture usable as a study desk, an entry console, or an accent table in classic or modern settings. Please carefully view the photo gallery, which is an integral part of the description, to avoid any misunderstandings. The legs are not detachable, so pickup from the seller's location is preferred.
