Italian desk in Liberty / Art Deco style, in solid wood, with a top that opens and original accessories. Elegant desk characterized by a very distinctive structure, with curved lines, carved decorative details and beautiful wood grain. The central part of the top is equipped with two elements that open via the respective mechanism, allowing access to the writing area. Inside there are letter slots/compartments, two inkwells and a storage compartment. The desk is completed by a wide central drawer and two side compartments with shelves. The piece shows normal signs of wear and use, visible in the photographs. The handle of the central drawer needs to be adjusted/secured. The opening and closing mechanism of the top is present and functioning. Dimensions: width 115 cm; depth 48 cm; top height 73 cm; maximum height with letter slots 90 cm. An Italian decorative and functional antique piece, interesting both as a desk and as a furnishing element. Given the size and weight of the desk I do not ship; pickup is entirely at the buyer's expense and care.
