Exclusive Auction: Three Premium Expressions from Wolfburn Distillery – Aurora, Morven, and 10 Year Old, One Bottle of Each! This select lot comprises one bottle of Wolfburn Aurora, one bottle of Wolfburn Morven, and one bottle of Wolfburn 10 Year Old. All originate from Wolfburn Distillery, the northernmost distillery in mainland Scotland (Thurso, Caithness), renowned for its pure spring water, local barley, and clean, elegant, and modern style. Bottles are standard size (70 cl), with original labels intact, excellent liquid levels, and impeccable condition – perfect for collectors of single malts from Northern Scotland, vertical tastings, or expanding a premium inventory. Star Item 1: Wolfburn Aurora – An expression with a light peaty influence and maturation that highlights freshness and minerality. • Profile: A fresh and vibrant nose with citrus (lemon, orange), green apple, sweet malt, hints of gentle smoke, and sea salt; On the palate, it is balanced and creamy with ripe fruit, vanilla, light honey, subtle spices, and a clean, medium-long finish with characteristic minerality. • Style: Elegant, fresh, and approachable – ideal for sipping neat or with just a drop of water. Star Piece 2: Wolfburn Morven. An expression dedicated to the Morven hill, with more traditional maturation and greater depth. • Profile: A nose with rich vanilla, toffee, ripe pear, toasted malt, soft oak, and floral notes; on the palate, round and harmonious with caramel, white fruits, sweet spices (cinnamon), and a persistent finish with elegant warmth and balanced sweetness. • Style: Balanced, complex, and refined – perfect for contemplative sipping or as a premium everyday whisky. Star Piece 3: Wolfburn 10 Year Old. An expression aged for 10 years, showcasing greater maturity and complexity thanks to its time in cask. • Profile: An elegant nose with deep vanilla, caramel, ripe tropical fruit, fine oak, toffee, and soft spices; A full and structured palate with subtle chocolate, toasted nuts, rich vanilla, spices (cinnamon, ginger), and a long, lingering, and silky finish with excellent balance. • Style: Mature, sophisticated, and contemplative – ideal for sipping neat as a premium, high-end whisky. This trio offers an excellent progression from Wolfburn: Aurora, fresh and mineral; Morven, balanced and elegant; and the more complex and mature 10 Year Old. They represent the quality and versatility of one of the most promising distilleries in the north of Scotland. Bid on this legendary lot – liquid treasures from the far north of Scotland in their purest form!
