Todas las subastas / Naútica, técnica & óptica / Welta Vintage 6x9 vouwcamera – Steinheil München Cassar...
Classic German medium-format folding camera for roll film, equipped with the relatively fast Steinheil München Cassar 1:3.8 f=105 mm, serial number VL 598635, combined with a Prontor-S central shutter. The shutter on the exemplar has visible speeds of 1, 2, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100 and 250 sec, plus B. The aperture ranges from f/3.8 to f/22. The camera features a folding optical viewfinder, rangefinder, and two red film windows at the back. The Cassar 105/3.8 is a classic three-element Steinheil design for the 6×9 format. The film chamber and spool holders are present. The unit is intended for 120 roll film and the 6×9 format; the two red windows also indicate use with a second format/mask, Fun fact The Cassar 105/3.8 is more interesting than the much more common slower 105/4.5 versions on simple 6×9 folders. Steinheil built this 105/3.8 as a 3-element/3-group lens.
