Wall sconce - lotus - Copper - Lotus lamp

Beautiful vintage lotus flower lamp, 60s-70s style — a model you see everywhere. It's a flower of 4 sets of 5 petals cut from brass sheet / copper. The original patina is oxidized. Originally, it was gilded or copper-veneered. The serrated edges are typical of the brutalist workmanship of the era. It's a standard E14 or E27 socket. The opaline globe bulb that normally fits inside is missing — it's what diffuses the light and gives the lamp its charm. The leaves and the stem are two large leaves in green-painted sheet metal. They called it "Lotus Lamp". It was very fashionable in 1970-1975 for bedside lamps, three-branch floor lamps. Manufacture often Italian or French under license from Jansen.
