Antique Louis XV Style Looking-Glass – Carved and Gilded Wood with Mecca Silver Details Magnificent antique vanity mirror in carved and gilded wood, enhanced by refined touches of mecca silver that add brightness and depth to the reliefs. The piece stands out for its elegant pierced crest, richly adorned with volutes, flowers, and Rocaille motifs, typical of Louis XV taste, where movement and grace blend in an balance of lightness and theatricality. The frame, finely hand-worked, features floral ornaments and sinuous scrolls along the entire perimeter, with warm gilding and an antique patina that enhance its authentic charm. The original glass shows slight oxidation due to time, testifying to its antiquity and historical value. A work of high artisanal craftsmanship, ideal as a wall or fireplace mirror, perfect for classical environments or reception rooms where one wishes to emphasize the decorative richness and the light of the antique gilding.
