The hand-made Bamileke feather headpiece known as the Tyri or Juju hat comes from the Bamileke peoples of Cameroon. Historically it was worn by the royal family and the tribal dignitaries during ceremonial occasions. This richly adorned hat symbolises wealth and beauty as well as prestige. The hat is made by gluing dyed natural feathers onto a woven raffia base. As decorative, eye-catching wall art or also to wear yourself, with this hat you speak to the senses of those around you in a wonderful way.
