Waldmann - No reserve price - Fountain pen

I am auctioning this magnificent and rare solid silver fountain pen from the prestigious German manufacturer Waldmann. This exceptional piece has prestigious historical and institutional provenance: it is engraved with the initials / official markings of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland (Ministerstwo Spraw Zagranicznych). It is, most likely, a high-end diplomatic gift or an official protocol-writing instrument, making it a unique and highly sought-after collectible. The cap is finely worked in solid 925 sterling silver (hallmarked) and bears the Polish institutional inscription. The lower body is adorned with a superb smooth, glossy black lacquer, offering perfect visual balance and excellent writing ergonomics. The lot includes its original piston converter (removable for use with bottled ink) as well as its official Waldmann-branded cleaning cloth. • Brand: Waldmann • Model: Institutional Edition / Diplomatic Gift • Provenance: Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland (MSZ) (see photos) • Materials: 925 solid silver (cap) and premium lacquer (body) • Origin: Made in Germany • Included accessories: Original black velvet presentation case, official cleaning cloth, and piston converter. Condition of the item: • Overall: Excellent cosmetic and functional condition. • Aesthetics: The black lacquer shows a perfect gloss and the silver cap is beautifully preserved. The official engraving is perfectly sharp and legible.
