Classic Antique Display Cabinet / Bookshelf with Original Blown Glass and Adjustable Shelves – Circa 1900 Description: Atmospheric and characterful antique wooden display cabinet / bookcase from the late 19th / early 20th century. This cabinet combines a robust look with refined historical details. Special features: Original old blown glass: The doors still feature authentic, lightly bubbled glass in which the characteristic air bubbles and ripples of old artisanal glasswork are clearly visible. Adjustable shelves: The interior is equipped with the traditional 'mouse steps' system (stepped wooden slats), allowing the sturdy shelves to be easily adjusted to any desired height. Curved shelves: The shelves have a decorative semi-circular notch at the front. This not only creates a sense of space but also makes it easy to store and display items. Excellent condition of hardware: The original lock closes beautifully and comes with a matching key. The wooden sliding bolt of the fixed door closes perfectly and tightly with no play. Ornate hardware & details: Fitted with beautifully engraved copper/brass escutcheons, a classic cap with geometric motifs and collars, and solid round feet at the front. A highly functional and decorative cabinet that fits perfectly in a classic, country, or modern minimalist interior. Specifications: Type of furniture: Display cabinet / Dish cabinet / Bookshelf Period: Circa 1890 – 1910 Material: Wood (stained/dark patina), glass, copper/brass hardware Dimensions: Height: 188 cm Width: 113 cm Depth: 56 cm Condition: In very good, authentic condition with a beautiful aged patina. Structurally very solid and ready for immediate use. Packaging & Shipping: Professional protection: To optimally protect the weight and fragility of the authentic blown glass, the cabinet is carefully wrapped in a thick layer of bubble wrap, foam, and protective cardboard. The whole thing is securely fixed to a wooden pallet. Insured transport: Shipping is carried out via professional pallet transport and is fully insured. Delivery to the door (ground floor): The driver will deliver the pallet to the front door on the ground floor.
