Vinicio Berti (1921-1991) - Costruzione AH BAN pennarello su cartone del 1979

Vinicio Berti (1921-1991) - Construction AH-BAN - 1979 Important and dynamic historical drawing by master Vinicio Berti (Florence, 1921-1991), a pivotal figure in Italian painting of the second half of the 20th century, founder in 1947 of the Classical Abstract Movement together with Bruno Brunetti, Alvaro Monnini and Gualtiero Nativi. The work, executed with marker on cardboard in 1979. The composition develops through angular modules, volumetric geometries, and perspective intersections that recall industrial architecture and urban expansion, central themes in Berti's imagination at the end of the seventies. On the compositional level, the simultaneous presence of the famous autograph graphemes "AH" and "BAN" stands out. The handwriting and the stroke are firm, rapid, and without second thoughts, confirming absolute coherence. Dimensions of the drawing alone: 34 cm x 24.50 cm Signed and dated "1979" in the artist's hand at the bottom right (signature with a characteristic vertical flow). Condition of the work: excellent. The cardboard support is intact and shows no foxing or humidity yellowing. The work is enhanced and protected by an imposing classical wooden frame with a molded finish and silvering and a wide ochre/ivory passe-partout (included in the lot but to be considered a gift). Frame measurements: 56.00 cm x 46.00 cm Shipping only within the European Community
