Vincentown, New Jersey. $10 1902 Red Seal. Fr. 613. First NB. Charter

A Visual Stunner from New Jersey Vincentown, New Jersey. $10 1902 Red Seal. Fr. 613. First NB. Charter #370. PMG Extremely Fine 40. A visually stunning note that dates to the early 1900s. This Series of 1902 Red Seal $10 represents not only an improbable survivor that sustained light circulation before its unlikely survival, but also a distinct rarity as the only example of its type recorded on the First National Bank of Vincentown (Charter# 370) by the National Bank Note Census. Here one may behold not only signs of circulation, but the reasoning behind the comment "Cut From Sheet" which is seamlessly spoken to by extant selvage which accounts for the top margin. This very element is nonetheless impressive in visual terms, but is further met by exceptional penned signatures attributable to the likes of Cashier William Budd Ross and President William John Irick which collectively amplify that impressive distinction effectively advertising this piece as not only a survivor, but also a trophy among the 77 notes recorded on this bank by the National Bank Note Census. PMG comments "Cut From Sheet." Estimate: $3,000 - $5,000. Click here for certification details from PMG.
