Vincent STREIFF - Le Chien et le Chat Farceurs – Tableau...

Original work and unique piece (1/1) by the French artist Vincent Streiff (VincePopArt). Vincent Streiff's work begins well before painting: he collects palettes that could no longer be used, dismantles them plank by plank, then entirely hand-shapes a custom support, cut and carefully sanded for this specific artwork. Each painting thus arises from wood with a unique history – grain, knots, irregular cuts – which becomes the signature of Vincent Streiff's style, between pop art and street art. The mischievous dog and cat, a cult duo from a famous French comic magazine, quarrel in the middle of vintage comic pages and bright colors: a healthy dose of nostalgia.
