Verstelbare 'tôle peinte' Bouillotte lamp - Table lamp - Brass

A charming and decorative bouillotte lamp from the late 19th century, made of polychrome painted sheet metal in an elegant patinated red tint and richly adorned with subtle gilded details. This atmospheric object is inspired by the classic bouillotte lamps that have been found on desks since the 18th century. The design is characterized by a central brass stand that carries two candle holders, with above it lamp shades made of perforated sheet metal with a light interior. The perforated shades create a soft, diffuse light distribution. This lamp is not powered by electricity; it is designed for candles, which fully fits the period and the authentic charm of lighting from that era; the shown candles are included. We recommend you examine the photos closely so you can fully appreciate the condition and the distinctive variety of this beautiful object.
