Rare, sculptural art glass black vase from the renowned German glassworks company Peill & Putzler. The piece impresses with its minimalist, postmodern play with light and texture: the matte-satin surface of the outer skin meets a highly glossy, wedge-shaped indentation in the center. circa 1970s – 1980s (Postmodern / Space Age / Modernism) Solid black glass / opal glass, hand-blown Partially satin (satin-finish) with a highly glossy accent seam Fully marked with the original, gold foil label ("Peill Germany"). Embossed monogram bottom mark ("P"). Very good to excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or restorations. Minimal, age-related signs of wear on the underside. The original label is superbly preserved.
