Pair of Florentine-style jardinière vases made of metal during the first half of the 20th century, pieces of elegant classical inspiration that evoke Italian decorative tradition and the refinement of ornamental objects intended to beautify living rooms, galleries, and winter gardens. Each example presents a slender silhouette with a cup elevated on a molded circular stem, following models inspired by ancient craters and ornamental vessels of the Italian Renaissance. The body, developed in the shape of an elongated cup, is traversed by deep vertical channels that give rhythm and verticality to the design, while a bulbous molding in the upper zone emphasizes the transition to the slightly flared mouth. The coppery and golden finishes, enriched by an attractive aging patina, confer a warm and authentic appearance to the pieces. The signs of time, visible in small chromatic variations and surface wear, add character and enhance the decorative charm of the set. On some areas there are faint traces of floral ornamentation engraved, a detail that reinforces their Florentine affinity with vegetal motifs and surfaces delicately decorated. The balanced proportion between the cup and the base provides an elegant and stylized presence, allowing their use both as jardinières for small plant displays and as ornamental vases intended to enhance centerpieces, consoles, shelves, or decorative pedestals. For their classical aesthetics, their attractive patinated finish, and their decorative versatility, this pair constitutes a piece with notable visual presence, ideal for interiors with Italian, neorenaissance, or eclectic inspiration, adding a touch of distinction and sophistication typical of the decorative arts of the first half of the 20th century.
