Vase - Ceramic - Japan - Edo Period (1600-1868) - Vases with Lion Dance

Two rare ceramic vases that imitate bronze vases, decorated with two children performing the lion dance (shishimai) as a traditional dance to repel evil spirits. The vases are marked on the underside and were produced toward the end of the Edo period. Light specks of paint loss, but given their age they are in good condition.
