Valdi - Mientras llega la noche - XL

As Night Falls As night falls represents that moment when the day begins slowly to bid farewell. A woman dressed in red stops by the balcony, a glass of wine in her hand, while the landscape stretches out before her under a light that still remains. The scene speaks of the pleasure of pausing, of those small moments that need no explanation. The garden, the roses, and the vegetation build an intimate space, while the figure seems to simply surrender to time and contemplation. The intense red of the dress dialogues with the deep greens and the different tones of blue, creating a composition of strong chromatic contrasts. The bright yellow of the sky introduces a point of light that concentrates the sense of a day about to end. In this work I am interested in turning a everyday scene into a small refuge: a glass, a landscape, and a few minutes in which nothing seems to happen, but in which perhaps the most important thing occurs. To wait, simply, while night arrives.
