This ring is an engagement ring par excellence. It presents an almost ideal brilliant-cut diamond of 2.34 ct in the "Fine White" colour grade (G) with only very, very small inclusions (VVS2). The proportions are excellent, symmetry and polish are very good, and it shows no fluorescence - the result is a diamond with perfect fire. The stone is set in a platinum setting with six prongs. This form of setting dates back to a design by the famous jeweller Tiffany & Co. from 1886. To this day, this shape of ring has remained the epitome of the engagement ring: Focused on the fiery diamond, yet restrained enough to still be fresh and beautiful years from now, easy to combine and simply beautiful. We have sustainably produced the ring with its classic prong setting in platinum: Both the diamond and the platinum of the ring have been reused here - they are recycled vintage materials. The diamond dates back to the 1970s and was previously set in a brooch. Two independent appraisals of the piece of jewellery are included with this wonderful ring.
