United States 1860/1860 - United States 1860 – Letter to...

American letter from 1860, sent to Switzerland. Stamped with a horizontal pair of two 10-cent stamps, with a total postage of 20 cents. The letter bears multiple American and European postal and transit stamps, including a Paris postmark from 1860 and assorted red postal markings. Interesting early trans-Atlantic philatelic piece with a striking 20-cent postage and a route via France to Switzerland. The back shows some paper loss and clear signs of age and wear. Please examine the photos carefully to form your own impression of the quality, condition, and any flaws of the offered item.
