A beautiful and varied collection totaling 294 old aviation and aircraft postcards. The lot consists of postcards from different airlines, aircraft types and eras. These include, among others: Pan Am British Airways Aer Lingus Lufthansa Air France Iberia Air Portugal British Caledonian Concorde Boeing 747 Boeing 737 TriStar various older propeller aircraft military and historic aircraft various numbered collector cards In addition, there are a few notable collector cards among them, featuring, among others, Lord Tedder / Typhoon, Lord Portal / Mosquito and Lord Trenchard / DH9A. Also included is an original Pan Am Boeing 747 SP card, described and stamped in London in 1983, addressed to a managing director of a business travel magazine. A nice historical aviation item within the collection. The cards vary in format, age and condition. Some are unwritten, other cards have been used or show normal signs of wear and age.
