Unique African character. This house icon originates from Ethiopia. It is carved from wood and has two fold-out doors in addition to the central section. The religious tableaux are fully hand-painted. The richly colored Biblical paintings of Ethiopian icons primarily illustrate scenes from the Old Testament.
