Unique Work Series: Of Shadows Title: Legs of Shadow Technique: acrylic / canvas Year: 2026 / July LEGS OF SHADOW presents the dark silhouette of legs extending vertically over a composition formed by large geometric planes and color surfaces. The figure occupies the center of the work and creates a strong contrast with the background, becoming the main visual axis of the composition. A clear line runs along the silhouette and follows the path of the leg, introducing a graphic element that breaks the uniformity of the figure and accentuates its contour. This stroke brings movement and depth, in addition to reinforcing the abstract character of the representation. The background is built through the layering of rectangular and curved shapes in deep blue, pink, white, gray, and cream tones. Some surfaces feature splashes and textures that contrast with the cleaner, more uniform areas, creating different levels of matter and visual rhythm. In LEGS OF SHADOW, the figure becomes a nearly monumental presence that emerges from the abstract whole. The work plays with the tension between the recognizable silhouette and the geometric fragmentation of space, creating an image in which body, shadow, form, and color are integrated into a single composition. The series OF SHADOWS explores the relationship between figure and space through dark silhouettes that appear over abstract compositions formed by color planes, geometries, and textures. The figures are presented as recognizable presences but partially depersonalized, becoming visual elements that dialogue with the background and with the various shapes that construct it. The contrast between the dark figures and the abstract planes generates a visual tension that runs through the entire series. The silhouettes gain strength and depth while the background is fragmented by different surfaces, colors, and painterly gestures. Thus, the series poses a reflection on presence and absence, using shadow as a form of representation. The figures do not seek to describe a concrete identity, but to convey a sensation, a movement, or a moment through their silhouette. AUTHENTICITY Each work is hand-signed on the back of the canvas, keeping the painted surface clean and without altering its visual composition. The signature includes the title of the work and the series, the year and month of realization, dimensions, technique, and the name and signature of TRACY CANO GARCÍA. The work comes with an Authentication Certificate (COA) confirming authorship and guaranteeing authenticity. IMAGE NOTE The photographs have been taken aiming to represent the work with the highest possible fidelity. However, small differences in color, contrast, or tone may be observed compared to the original, due to lighting conditions during shooting as well as the settings and characteristics of each screen. These variations do not affect the actual appearance of the work. SHIPPING INFORMATION The work will be carefully shipped rolled in a protective tube, ensuring adequate protection during transport. The canvas includes an additional margin of approximately 5 cm on each side, intended to allow later mounting or re-stretching on a frame, which may be carried out by the buyer or by a specialized professional.
