Among audio enthusiasts, the Rainmaker is known as a legendary monitor speaker that delivers unprecedented grandeur and spaciousness from a compact enclosure. Typical for Totem Acoustic is the uncompromising build quality: the cabinets are manufactured with artisanal lock-mitered joints and internally coated with borosilicate (a damping ceramic dispersion layer), which eliminates internal resonances without the damping effect of thick layers of synthetic wool. This preserves the speaker's breathtaking microdynamics and pure musicality. In sound, the Rainmaker performs with remarkable speed, enormous rhythmic precision and a holographically deep stereo image. The bass is incredibly deep, sonorous and tightly defined for this size, while the special room-damped textile-dome tweeter provides a silky-smooth, extremely detailed high-frequency response without any listening fatigue. The crossover is minimalist (first-order acoustic crossover) and built from point-to-point wired components of audiophile quality. At the rear there is a massive dual binding post terminal, suitable for bi-wiring or bi-amping.
