The label "Torres 10 - 8 peseta" refers to one of the earliest historical presentations of Torres 10 brandy, when it was still sold in Spain with prices in pesetas during the 1980s. Vintage bottles with the "8 pts" label are sought after by collectors. The winery that produces the product is Familia Torres, founded in 1870 in the Penedès region (Barcelona). The spirits division began in 1928 with Juan Torres Casals, producing brandies aged in oak barrels. About Torres 10: It was first marketed in 1946. It is made with white wines from the Penedès region, distilled and aged using the traditional solera method. Aging takes place in American oak barrels, which impart notes of vanilla, cinnamon, and wood. Historically, it has been considered one of the most exported and internationally recognized Spanish brandies. Condition: Bottles with no visible leaks, but showing signs of age and some dirt.
