Southeast Asia, Indonesia, Sumatra, Toba Batak, ca. 19th to mid-20th century CE. A curved bone porhalaan, a divination calendar/almanac, carved and etched with lizards, key symbols in Batak cosmology, and additional auspicious motifs arranged in registers.
