Tintin 53 - Année complète 1948 Tintin - 53 Magazine...

A very good collection comprising the entire year 1948 of the Journal Tintin, Belgian edition, i.e., the 53 issues from no. 1 to no. 53. All the fascicles are present and preserved separately. This third year of the Journal Tintin is particularly interesting due to the richness of its content and the presence of many emblematic series of Franco-Belgian comics. Among others, you can find works by Hergé, Jacobs, Cuvelier and other major authors of the era, including, among others, the end of The Temple of the Sun, the beginning of Tintin in the Congo? Wait, careful. The French says: Tintin au pays de l’or noir (Tintin in the Land of Black Gold). And Le Secret de l’Espadon. The whole thing is in good general condition for its age. The journals show natural yellowing of the paper as well as some minor signs of use, creases or edge fragility. The covers remain clearly legible and retain beautiful colors. To note: the last issue, no. 53, has on the fourth cover (fourth plate) a tear with a small loss of about 5 × 3 cm, visible in the photographs. The other copies generally present well considering their age. A complete year that has become difficult to assemble issue by issue. The numerous photographs are an integral part of the description and allow a precise assessment of the overall condition. Carefully protected shipping, laid flat, with reinforced packaging due to the weight and fragility of the fascicles.
