Tile - Tile panel of a Dutch landscape - van Hulst...

A rare decorative tile, tile plaque with refined painting. The piece was made in the ancient factory of van Hulst in Harlingen, where, in addition to decorative ware, many tiles and faience were produced. The work showed many similarities to Delftware and Tichelaar from Makkum. Fortunately, for this piece the initials are written on the back, making it easy to attribute. VH = van Hulst. Made circa 1890 in Harlingen and still in a nice condition.
