A high-quality 5-piece Meissen porcelain ensemble decorated with hand-painted polychrome flowers (Deutsche Blumen / Blumenmalerei) and fine gilding, executed in 1. Wahl (first quality). The blade marks in underglaze blue show no wear striations over the mark, indicating factory quality without defects. Based on the sword type and the decor numbers, the set dates from the mid- to late 20th century. Overview of the pieces Round lidded box / Bonbonnière Form: Round, lightly bulging model with flat insert lid and continuous gilded trim. Decor: Central posy on the lid dominated by a cornflower and orange marigold/garden daisy; around the body small scattered flowers (Streublumen). Base: Underglaze blue crossed swords (1. Wahl), gilded rim on the stand, and red painter’s mark. Kratervaasje / Footed vase on three feet Form: Lightly flaring chalice shape with a serrated gilded edge, resting on three richly gilded scroll-footed feet on a profiled round plinth. Decor: Various fine field flowers (e.g., cornflower, small rose, and gentian/forget-me-not). Base: Marked on the hollow underside with crossed swords (1. Wahl). Leaf-shaped small dish (Blattschale) Form: Asymmetric leaf model with a curled stalk handle accented in gold. Feature: Beautifully worked floral relief (veins and leaves) in the porcelain on the underside. Base: Crossed swords in blue underglaze and in iron red the decor number/model number (e.g., 060110 / 233). Raised shell-shaped dish on feet (Muschelschale auf Füßen) Form: Deeply serrated shell shape carried by three scroll feet with gold curls, with an upturned rocaille handle at the back. Decor: Internally painted with a sprig of wild rose and blue bells. Flat shell dish Form: Shallow shell with serrated gilded rim and a classic rocaille handle on the left side. Decor: Central bouquet with pink wild dog-rose/wild rose and small scattered flowers. The set is in perfect condition.
