Vintage Iridescent Mother of Pearl & Brass Opera Glasses with Golden Pouch - Early 20th Century Description: Overview A beautiful pair of vintage early 20th-century opera glasses, featuring intricate panels of natural Mother of Pearl (Nacre) casing on the barrels and eyepieces, set in a brass frame with remnants of silver plating. Complete with a vintage golden textile zippered pouch. Design & Features Aesthetics: The Mother of Pearl panels display prominent pink, green, and gold iridescent play-of-color, catching the light beautifully. Craftsmanship: Hand-paneled mother-of-pearl work on the barrels and detailed brasswork. Accessories: Comes with a functional, vintage golden fabric protective zippered case. Condition Aesthetics: Good vintage condition with an authentic, age-appropriate patina. The Mother of Pearl panels are largely intact with beautiful iridescence.
