"Light does not erase the storm, but it teaches the viewer where to place their gaze so as not to get lost." Ävenor III is an intense, monumental, and magnetic work, the third act of the renowned series The Wait For Clarity. Created with an imposing material draft, the piece captures a primordial and solemn landscape that welcomes and envelops the viewer, dominated by a dense and tempestuous atmosphere in which the forces of light and shadow clash in an eternal and evocative dualism. The composition, which gains extraordinary strength thanks to the visceral handling of the spatula, is structured around strong chromatic and volumetric contrasts: the earth and the dark monolithic figures below rise toward a tormented sky, ripped by clouds charged with dramatic tension. At the center of this scene, a wide diagonal of white, bright light slices through the blanket of gray and dark clouds, acting as a beacon that resists the fury of the surrounding elements and parts the darkness with a promise of hope and revelation, fading toward warm amber tones on the horizon. Symbolism This work represents a powerful visual metaphor of introspection and the overcoming of human adversity: • Diffused Light: Symbolizes the clarity that makes its way through chaos. It does not yet represent a total victory over darkness, but the silent strength and the determination needed to continue one’s path in the darkness, knowing that a way out exists. • Nature and the Dark Monoliths: Silent presences that, like sentinels, witness the passage of time and the ability to remain rooted and resilient even in the most difficult and stripped moments of existence. Simone Pappalardo, artistically known as "TheArtOfAGhost," is an Italian contemporary artist whose work focuses on exploring human emotions and the power of visual symbolism. His artistic practice is characterized by a visceral use of matter and a constant dialogue between light and shadow. His works are already present in numerous private collections across Europe (Italy, France, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, Greece, Portugal, Germany, Belgium, Poland, Austria, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, Denmark, and Hungary), marking steady growth in the international emerging art market. • Note on Environment Mockups: Some images in this listing show the work staged in interior contexts through digital/AI processing.
