I had envisioned leaving Agra with a set of photographs of the white marble building glistening in the morning sun but standing in front of it I knew that wasn’t going to happen. After visiting the interior I walked around the majestic walls of the Taj Mahal. The rain had stopped and a dense fog was looming in. Away from the crowds that had taken over the main entrance I sat in a quiet spot and photographed the silent building playing with the fog. In the end I was pleased that my images revealed a different moody side of this amazing building.
