Tex Avery / Turner Entertainment - Exclusive set of 2...

Description: For the connoisseur and serious collector of vintage animation art: a unique and rare set of two large, heavy sculptures made of high-quality resin. Both highlights were released in the mid-1990s by the renowned French brand Demons & Merveilles under official license of Turner Entertainment Co. This thematically perfectly matched lot contains the following two iconic collectibles: 1. The Great Tex Avery Trio Sculpture (1996) This impressive and very heavy piece brings together the three most legendary characters from Tex Avery cartoons in one dynamic scene: the laconic dog Droopy, the dazed Wolf (Wolfie) with his bulging eyes, and the seductive Pin-up (The Girl), surrounded by a beautifully fluttering film reel. The name 'Tex Avery' is engraved in relief on the large base. • Dimensions: approx. 24 cm high x 29 cm wide x 14 cm deep • Weight: +/- 1.5 kg 2. Droopy on Letters (1995) The sought-after, large character figure of the characteristically calm Droopy Dog, sitting atop the large yellow letters of his own name. • Dimensions: approx. 28 cm high x 22 cm wide x 14 cm deep • Weight: +/- 1.7 kg The condition: Both sculptures are in absolute top condition and the colors are beautiful and fresh. There are no breaks, cracks, missing parts or glue repairs. Even the very fragile, thin ears of the wolf and the fingers of the pin-up are 100% intact, which is exceptionally rare for these vintage editions. The original copyright information and manufacturer stamps are deeply engraved into the sculptures. A rare opportunity to add these two iconic French quality sculptures to your collection in one go, shipped with utmost care, shockproof and safely packed.
