Technics - RS-BX501 Audio-cassette deck

The Technics RS-BX501 is a reliable and versatile single auto-reverse cassette deck produced by Technics between 1994 and 1999. The model is known as one of the last serious hi-fi cassette decks with an auto-reverse feature released by the brand. Key Features & Specifications Mechanism: 2 heads (1x recording/playing, 1x erasing) and driven by a 2-motor mechanism (1 motor for the transport coils and 1 DC servo motor for the capstan). ATC (Auto Tape Calibration): This is one of the most rated features on this deck. The computer measures the cassette at three frequencies (400 Hz, 5 kHz and 10 kHz) to optimally adjust the bias, equalizer and recording level in 64 steps for the type of band you are using. Noise reduction: Equipped with Dolby B and C noise cancellation and Dolby HX-Pro for better performance in the high frequency range during recording. Fast flushing: Features a "High-Speed FF/REW" that allows a C-60 cassette to be completely flushed in about 50 seconds. The microprocessor automatically slows down the coil speed as soon as the end of the tape approaches to prevent damage. TPS (Tape Program Sensor): Automatic title cover search function to quickly jump to the next or previous song on the tape. Unit has been tested and operational!
