Team Green / Player's Ltd - Indianapolis 500 - Jacques...

From our collections, an exclusive lot that takes us back to the CART PPG Indy Car World Series 1995. A splendid photograph that celebrates the legendary victory of Canadian driver Jacques Villeneuve at the 79th Indianapolis 500, which took place on May 28, 1995, and which we have had signed. In this photographic shot we find Jacques Villeneuve seated on the left front wheel of his Reynard 95I-Ford Cosworth (Team Green / Player's Ltd). The driver is wearing the official suit and the traditional winner's laurel wreath around his neck. On the right stands the iconic and imposing Borg-Warner Trophy. The car and the driver are on the finish line of the Indianapolis circuit, recognizable by the historic brick section (“Yard of Bricks”). The photo is set in a commemorative layout with white borders and features the original signature of Jacques Villeneuve, placed vertically on the right side of the driver and the car. The stroke is thick, clean, and in glossy black, a characteristic of the famous conical-tipped Pentel N50 permanent-ink marker. An unmissable lot, ready to embellish the finest collections.
