Tancredi Fornasetti - Monoliti d'acciaio

Tancredi Fornasetti exhibits in important Italian and foreign galleries. Acrylic on canvas 30x30 of 2026 Tancredi Fornasetti was born in Rome in 1983, where he still lives and works. Graduated in Decoration at the Academy of Fine Arts of Rome under the guidance of Professor Michele Cossyro, from the outset he develops a strongly personal painting language, intertwining geometry, architecture and a deep sensitivity to color. His work sits within the broad horizon of Abstract Art, but renews its coordinates with a contemporary and visionary approach. In his works, lines and planes multiply into perspectives and complex structures that evoke imaginary urban spaces, impossible architectures and metaphysical geometries. The artist draws as much from the rationalism of the Thirties as from De Chirico’s lesson, filtering both through a sensibility marked by digital experience and the visual culture of our time. Fornasetti’s painting is not limited to description: it elaborates and transforms. References to the history of art—from Mondrian to Kandinsky, from Malevich to Soldati—merge with the suggestions of cinema, scenography and virtual reality, giving life to a visual syntax that unites analytical rigor and emotional impulse. His “contemporary skylines,” made strictly by hand freehand, are the result of an balance between order and chaos, between geometric construction and instinctive gesture. The relationship between space and color is the heart of his research: a constant dialectic between opposing forces—centripetal and centrifugal, analytical and synthetic—that generates a continual visual vibration. His surfaces open like doors, streets and windows toward worlds that contradict themselves and support themselves at the same time, guiding the gaze along infinite paths. From 2006 to today, Fornasetti has exhibited in numerous solo and group shows in Italy and abroad, collaborating with galleries, museums and notable curators. Among the venues that have hosted his works are Galleria Mucciaccia, Galleria Mario Giusti HQ in Milan, Virus Art Gallery and Galleria Medina in Rome, as well as international projects curated by La Maison de La Petite Sara in the Republic of San Marino. Over the years he has participated in exhibitions such as Affordable Art Fair, Tiferno Comics, ArtExpo Arezzo, and in initiatives curated by figures such as Achille Bonito Oliva, Vincenzo Mollica and Francesco Gallo Mazzeo. A learned and curious artist, Fornasetti continues to question painting as a living language, in constant transformation. In his works memory and innovation, introspection and experimentation coexist, creating a visual universe in which geometry becomes emotion and space becomes narrative. Pamela Fiacconi, Kou Gallery Rome Tancredi Fornasetti’s works are present in numerous private collections around the world. Artist quoted in auction houses and on Artsy. Signed and dated on the back.
