takatoku - Toy Dorvack - AP Calibur W version - 1980-1990 - Japan

Up for auction a rarissimo original vintage set from Takatoku Toys from the early eighties, specifically the sought-after "W Version" Double Box dedicated to the Special Armored Trooper Dorvack series. This splendid double package includes simultaneously the VV-54AR Mugen Calibur in the classic orange and brown coloration, whose famous Japanese mold was later used by Hasbro for the legendary Roadbuster from Transformers G1, and the military variant VV-54A Calibur in dark green. The two robots and all components are in excellent, like-new condition, never played with and structurally perfect in every joint and piece of plastic. The set is complete with all original accessories and the weapons protected in their compartments. The internal Styrofoam has been impeccably preserved, remaining intact, clean, and free of breaks or wear marks. The outer glossy cardboard box is in superb condition, solid and with colors still vivid, showing only minimal and natural signs of time localized exclusively on a few edges. The only missing element is the paper instruction sheet. A true piece of Japanese robotic collecting history, an unmissable opportunity to enrich your collection with an incredibly hard-to-find promotional double-box variant on the international market in this state of preservation.
