Set, antique table service in cotton embroidered by hand. Multicolored flowers and carved openwork. Refined and rich antique table service, belonging to a well-regarded family, finely embroidered, entirely handmade on a high-quality natural white cotton fabric. The central and peripheral decoration is characterized by vivid and elegant floral motifs (shaded roses) executed with a masterful combination of painting stitch / satin stitch, grass stitch and cross stitch. The tablecloth is further enhanced by elegant lozenge and pierced oval motifs in cutwork, and hand-finished fringe that create a splendid play of transparency on the table. The set includes its coordinating napkins, finished along the edge with a refined light-blue contrasting border and a small embroidered floral motif in the corner. Measurements Tablecloth 240x140 Napkins 40x40 Conditions: Excellent vintage, antique condition, kept with great care in the set. The tablecloth has been washed and sanitized to remove some stains from a trunk. It is perfect, almost certainly never used.
