(t) CHINA. Silver Dollar Pattern, ND (1910). Tientsin Mint. Kuang-hsu

Glistening Crown Pattern Featuring "$1" (t) CHINA. Silver Dollar Pattern, ND (1910). Tientsin Mint. Kuang-hsu (Guangxu). PCGS Genuine--Cleaned, AU Details. L&M-24; K-219 = KM; WS-0036; Wenchao-98 (rarity: ★★). A RARE and always desired pattern crown from the waning years of Ch'ing-dominated China, this Dollar does display some scattered hairlines commensurate with the noted prior cleaning, but no actual wear is observed. Meanwhile, a staggering degree of vibrant brilliance radiates throughout, with a subtle frosting imparted unto the dragon, as well as some tinges of golden toning around the devices. Given its eye appeal, a great example of the type, and one that should generate great intrigue and enthusiasm. Estimate: $20,000 - $30,000. Provenance: From the Yang Ai Hao Collection. Ex: Heritage 3024 (4/2013) Lot # 23546. To view all items from the Yang Ai Hao Collection, click here. Click here for certification details from PCGS.
