Wonderful Late Imperial Pattern Minor (t) CHINA. Silver 1/2 Dollar (50 Cents) Pattern, ND (1910). Tientsin Mint. Hsuan-t'ung (Xuantong [Puyi]). PCGS AU-55. L&M-25; K-220; KM-Y-23; WS-0037. Already a RARE and desirable type, this minor pattern striking in silver features mostly steely gray surfaces that retain great lustrous brilliance across both sides. Though the characters side is somewhat spartan with respect to the devices, leaving a rather large field of empty space, the dragon side is much more intricate, with the fantastic beast coiled within a tight inner circle, poised to break free.
