Extremely Rare Sun Yat Sen Revolutionary Money (t) CHINA--MISCELLANEOUS. Central Bank of the Republic of China. 1 Yuan, ND. P-Unlisted. PMG Very Fine 25. There is still much debate about the issuance of notes from the Central Bank of the Republic of China. But what can be agreed upon is that they are all very rare and seldom come available at public auction. The bank is believed to have been set up by Dr Sun Yat Sen to raise money during the Xinhai Revolution and was located in Guangdong Province. The notes were printed in Japan. A historical note of great importance in modern Chinese history and surely missing from even the most advanced collections of Chinese paper money. PMG Comments "Annotations."
