This overprint was issued by Feng Yu Xiang (1882-1948) in 1930 during the Central Plains War on the 1928 series from the Bank of the Northwest. The overprint states that the note will be redeemed once 'the revolution is complete' and 'when the military incidents are stable'. Feng eventually lost to Chiang Kai Shek and was stripped of his military powers. The Bank folded at the same time. PCGS Banknote Grading Comments "Fire Damage". PCGS Grading incorrectly identifies this as S3888b. Estimate: $260 - $360.
